Overhead Conveyor to Fertilizer Warehouse in Brandon, Manitoba

Double T Equipment was awarded the contract for replacing the original 24" wide Overhead Conveyor and traveling Belt Tripper, installed in the late eighties, for Western Co-operative Fertilizer's Transshipping Facility in Brandon. The project included the removal of the existing overhead conveyor. The new conveyor includes catwalk and platforms, and was installed by Double T Equipment in July 2002.

Double T Equipment has been involved with many of the upgrades that have occurred on this site since the early nineties. These upgrades included a 175-foot extension to the original storage warehouse as well as the addition of a complete new storage facility that was connected to the original building. All the required material handling equipment for these upgrades were manufactured and installed by Double T Equipment. Another upgrade was the manufacture and installation of a rail in-load system, which included an infeed rail hopper with transfer conveyor and bucket elevator.
